I received word today that a job interview I had just before xmas has resulted in positive developments. It looks like I’ve got the job! I’m having a meeting with them tomorrow afternoon to sort out the details, and I’ll have some more to write about after that.
I’m pretty happy about this, as I’ve pretty much been looking for some more work since the end of November. Luckily I was still working right up until xmas, so I’ve effectively been out of work for about 3 weeks. I’m glad I’ve got something to move on to.
UPDATE:
Turns out there was a misunderstanding. The agent that advised me I was successful with the job was wrong. The meeting today was about the client wanting to act on my behalf as if they were a recruitment agent themselves. But I haven’t got any job yet.
Oh well, the job search continues.
