I’ve been interviewed!

After we’d finished doing my interview of Barry (which you can read here at An interview with a Practical Buddhist), he decided that he’d like to interview me too. I was a bit wary of this at first, ’cause I don’t think that I’ve done all that much that’s worthy of being interviewed about, but I thought – what the heck, let’s do this.

You can read it here: Alan Howard: A Writer’s Journey

I must say, it turned out a lot better than what I thought it might be. Originally it had a lot of extra ‘fluff’ that I’d written in answer to his questions, but I edited that to be a bit more focused, so the result reads a bit better without going on too much. I’m pretty happy with the result, and if you go have a read you’ll get to know a bit more about me, my writing, and why I do it.

One of the things that Barry wrote was very touching and inspirational, and I can only thank him from the bottom of my heart for feeling the way he does, and for sharing it.

I think the world is a better place for having you in it and contributing your experiences as you do on your blog. As you indicated, a lot of readers have benefitted from what you’ve published. I hope through your writing practice that you come to a place in the journey where a wider audience can benefit from a good many works that have yet to come from your pen…er, keyboard.

Thank you Barry. 🙂
