It’s been about 3 weeks since I last posted here. A big reason for this has been due to the fact that I’ve been playing Eve Online quite heavily. It’s an online game I’ve been involved in before, and I got back into it a few months ago. What with not working, I’ve been occupying my spare time quite heavily in the game.
And we all know what I do when I occupy myself quite heavily in something. I write about it. I’ve been very, very busy writing about the game from my character’s point of view. I’ve also been writing articles about the game to help others get better at it themselves – from a pirate’s point of view, that is. Yeh, I’m getting into ‘piracy’ in the game, which is basically just doing a lot of player vs. player combat.

It’s been an excellent distraction, keeping me occupied while I haven’t been working.
But now I’m working again, as of this coming Monday, which is quite a relief. After 6 weeks of looking for a new contract, it’s great to be back in the game and getting money coming in again.
It’s another Business Analyst role, which I’m very pleased about (since I want to very much move forward in this capacity), and will allow me to help the client improve their service desk processes in order to improve their quality of service. I think this is becoming a bit of a specialised area for me, my forte, if you will. Not that I mind, of course, because I’m very good at it and seem to know my stuff.
So now that I’ll be back at work and less occupied with online gaming, and with more money coming in again to allow me to get back into doing a few things here and there, you can probably expect to see more posts from me.
It’s good to be back. 🙂
This blog will never fade away, it’ll just go through slow periods on occasions. A bit like life, when you think about it. It just keeps on going, through ups and downs, until you die.
